Introduction

Hello! I am a Fashion Merchandising graduate who is starting my own image consulting firm. It's a very difficult business convincing people that they need someone to tell them what to wear, but as we all know, fashion does not come naturally to all. It does not even come naturally to most. And I, dear readers, am not immune. Before I went to Fashion school, I made a few missteps myself. Some would claim that I still do, but what is fashion without a little risk taking? Can I cure the world of bad taste? Probably not... although, a girl can dream. So if you are one of those who think you have it all together, read this blog, and laugh with me. If you are one of those who has no idea, treat these posts like one of those "blah blah blah for Dummies" books... as a light-hearted, back to basics guide to fashion-- the way your mother should have taught you, if she hadn't grown up in the disco era or the decade of leggings and lace.
